The Mouri family consists of 3 members:

Mouri Kogoro, Kisaki Eri, Mouri Ran.

Eri left Kogoro after he stated that her cooking is completely inedible. After that,  Eri focused on her duties as a professional lawyer. She was a candidate of "Miss Teitan High School Contest", competing with Kudo Yukiko. In the end the two tied in result of Kogoro not casting in his vote on time. Later on they decided that Eri is the Queen and Yukiko is the Princess. She and Kogoro still have feelings for each other, although they only expressed it in dangerous occasions.

Mouri Kogoro, the slacker in Teitan high school, eventually got into Beika University and aced in Judo. Later on he became a police officer, then quit after the bullet incident.

In the meantime, he works in his detective agency, which later on had numerous jobs thanks to his "Sleeping Kogoro" deduction. He used to hit/yeet Conan when Conan is interfering with the cases, but in the episodes lately (800+), they have great teamwork to catch the curlpit.
